BLACK FRIDAY 2011

So this year's Black Friday was kind of a dud. We started extra early this year, being that Urban Outfitters in SoHo decided to open its doors at 12AM. As usual, all sale items were an additional 50% off. The selection wasn't that great this time around, but we managed to still have fun and score a couple items. Mind you, these were not super amazing steals, but still enough to keep us coming back for more every year. Pardon these silly pictures. Most of them were candids that were taken because no mirror was available for us to look at ourselves in. All photos taken via iPhone 4S because neither of us had a camera.

Such a cute dress with amazing beading. Seen here with a scarf as a makeshift belt. Alas, this was too big for Elsie :( No deal.

 Cute blue dress with faux fur vest. Yes to the dress, nay to the vest. It had strange, angular flaps that didn't quite look right.

So after we finished at Urban, we walked down Broadway to see if any other stores were open. As we were walking by Hollister, we saw that there was yellow caution tape plastered across the entrance. Apparently the store was burglarized by unruly shoppers who grew tired of waiting for the store to open! See the story here.

Nothing else was open except for Forever 21 and Old Navy and we didn't feel like waiting 2.5 hours for H&M and other stores to open, so we ended the night early this year. So that's it for now.
